Colleformica Formica Rossa Sangiovese 2020

A head-turning and joy-inducing turn on the Sangiovese grape. Non-existent are the dusty tannins and more brooding fruit often associated with traditional renditions of the grape; instead this is a gentle and sexy beast - wrapped in a powdery soft, velvet texture we find oodles of ripe and candied cherry and raspberry fruit projected through a prism of high-toned dried rose petal aromatics. Fermented and aged in fiberglass with the slightest dash of SO2. Serve ever so slightly chilled.
